Sydney Sweeney is not a fan of Kim Novak.
Novak, 93, admitted that casting Sweeney, 28, to play the actress in his upcoming film “Scandalous!” it was “totally wrong.”
“I wouldn’t accept,” Novak recently told The Times, before adding that the “Euphoria” star “sticks a lot above the waist.”

Among the many problems with the film, Novak shared concerns that the film would focus too much on the sexual side of his relationship with Sammy Davis, Jr., despite the fact that the couple had “a lot in common” apart from physical attraction.
“There’s no way it can’t be sexual because Sydney Sweeney looks great all the time,” Novak said. “He was completely wrong to play me.”
Sweeney’s representatives did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.

Colman Domingo’s original story focuses on Novak’s once-controversial relationship with Sammy Davis, Jr., which Novak believed was normal.
“I don’t think the relationship was scandalous,” the 92-year-old actor told The Guardian last year.
“He’s someone I cared about a lot,” Novak added. “We had a lot in common, including the need to be accepted for who we are and what we do, rather than what we look like. But I’m concerned that they will make it all about sex.”

Novak’s longtime manager, Sue Cameron, explained earlier “Vertigo” star she was not planning to get married at the time she met Davis Jr.

“Kim and I are aware of at least four unauthorized and unapproved plans regarding the Kim Novak and Sammy Davis matter,” Cameron said. People.

Novak also opened up about his “misunderstood” relationship with Davis Jr. in a 2023 interview with Fox News Digital.
“I loved him,” she recalled at the time. “He was someone who had a youthful innocence about him. Now, I know no one ever saw him that way, but I did. He had a boyish quality to him, and I loved that about him.”

The “Picnic” actress explained that she had “never seen a person of color.”

“When I was a child, my first boyfriend was Mexican. He was an altar boy in my church. He was my first love. So, I never thought about race,” Novak said. “However, the studio was very angry about it. I refused because I didn’t believe that was right. Even though people felt a certain way, I also felt that people should change. And I felt that by seeing Sammy and Sammy seeing me, we can help people understand and accept any kind of interracial relationships.”
He continued, “I felt like I was helping people be more accepting of all races and all kinds of relationships. I felt like I was doing the right thing by doing that. I felt like Sammy and I were at the beginning of helping people understand that this is not wrong. A man is a man, no matter what color he is. A woman is a woman, no matter what color her skin is.”
