Taylor Frankie Paul and her “Bachelorette” winner, Doug Mason, turned heads with their exchange on social media even when the show was canceled.
On Saturday, Mason took to Instagram to share a performance of his new song. In this picture, the reality star also showed a duck walking in the parking lot.
Paul wrote in Mason’s comments section, “I’m amazed at what you’ve done here 🦆.”
In response, he said, “🧏🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️.”
Page Six reached out to Mason and Paul, but he did not immediately respond.
Paul, 31, has been announced as the front runner for Season 22 of “The Bachelorette” in September 2025.
Although the ABC reality show was scheduled to premiere on March 22, it was canceled after the video “The Secret Life of Mormon Women” was placed on his ex-wife Dakota Mortensen during the 2023 domestic violence.
“Due to the newly released video that surfaced today, we have decided not to continue with a new season of ‘The Bachelorette’ at this time, and are focusing on supporting the family,” the network told Page Six in a statement.
After ABC pulled the plug on Paul’s season, he told Page Six exclusively that he was “very grateful for ABC’s support as he prioritizes the safety and security of his family.
“After years of suffering in silence from mental and physical abuse as well as threats of retaliation, Taylor is finally finding the strength to confront her accuser and take steps to ensure that she and her children are protected from any further harm,” he told us.
Paul also said he “remained silent” about the abuse he allegedly faced “for fear of further abuse, retaliation and public embarrassment.”
Mortensen recently filed for a protective order against Paul, which resulted in him losing temporary custody of their 2-year-old son, Ever, after another alleged incident in February 2026.
The reality star is not allowed to see the young child until the next hearing, scheduled for April 7.
Last week, Page Six exclusively reported that Paul has found love on “The Bachelorette” — but it’s “unclear” how that romance will play out due to the show’s cancellation.
Mason is believed to be the one who won Paul’s heart and proposed, the source tells us that “they are talking, but it is not clear what will happen now, that will be determined.”
After ABC canceled the show, the savior spoke out in support of Paul, saying “his time is up.”
