After making a triumphant return to the stage with the Eiffel Tower at the opening ceremony of the 2024 Paris Olympics, Céline Dion has now officially confirmed that she is back in concert. The pop legend has revealed details of his upcoming birthday concerts at the Café de l’Homme in Paris, focusing on the landmark – dates appear below.
When the singer was not present at the event, a video message was broadcast on the screen of the Eiffel Tower. He said: “For the past few years, every day that has passed, I have heard your prayers and your support, your kindness and your love.” You have helped me in ways I can’t even explain, and I am truly blessed to have had your support. “This year, I get the best birthday present…I get the chance to see you, to sing for you again in Paris, starting in September! I feel happy, strong, I feel happy, of course I’m scared, but most of all, thank you all! I love you all and I’ll see you soon!”
Although details about the shows were not immediately announced, the press release says the shows will feature “his most popular songs in French and English, a powerful tribute to the songs that have defined his remarkable work around the world for generations.” The concerts are presented by Concerts West, AEG Presents, and Inter Concerts.
Like Variety Confirmed last week, the pop icon is set to perform a series of concerts this fall at Paris La Défense Arena, marking his first series of live shows since leaving the venue in 2022.

The announcement caps several days of heightened anticipation across the French capital. On March 23, posters bearing the titles of Dion’s iconic songs, including “Pour que tu m’aimes encore” and “The Power of Love,” appeared across Paris, while a video shot overnight on Sunday showed a rehearsal at the Eiffel Tower, with the messages “Celine Dion” and “Paris, I’m ready.”
France Télévisions added to the speculation ahead of the broadcast, teasing an announcement involving Dion on Monday evening.
Dion retired from performing after revealing that she had been diagnosed with Stiff Person Syndrome, a rare neurological and autoimmune disease that affects movement and vocal ability. Her struggle was documented in the 2024 book “I Am: Celine Dion,” directed by Irene Taylor.
Her sensational performance at the Paris Olympics, where she performed “Hymne à l’amour” by Édith Piaf, had already sparked rumors of a comeback, Las Vegas said in reports. But the French Canadian singer has always had a special relationship with Paris. Before the Olympics, he even told Vogue France, “I chose to work with my whole body and soul, from head to toe, with a team of doctors. I want to be the best person. My goal is to see the Eiffel Tower again!”
In the past 24 hours, Dion also deleted her Instagram account, hinting at a carefully curated new chapter.

Fans will be notified by email of the status of their selection, and registration does not guarantee tickets.
Visa, the concert’s Premium Partner, can offer Visa cardholders early access to tickets on sale scheduled from Wednesday 8 April at 10:00 CET to Thursday 9 April 23:59 CET. In France, holders of Visa Infinite, Visa Premier and Visa Platinum cards will benefit from valuable access to tickets through the My Visa app and website. In Luxembourg, this priority access will be available to Visa Infinite cardholders.
General ticket sales will begin on Friday, April 10 at 10:00 CET. A limited number of ‘Ticket and Hotel Experience Packages’ and special Celine Dion VIP packages will also be available.
