LeAnn Rimes cried uncontrollably while undergoing “deep jaw surgery.”
On Monday, self-care provider Human Garage shared an Instagram video of the country singer undergoing a 60-second procedure to reduce tension in her jaw.
In the footage, Rimes can be seen moaning in pain as the technician, Garry Lineham, puts one of his hands over her mouth while a second person holds her head.
Once the process was over, the songwriter cried, amazed at the results.
“Say ‘that part of my life is over,'” Lineham ordered him, to which he replied, “That part of my life should be over.”
“Oh my God, you have no idea how much tension there is,” Rimes said once she calmed down and was able to catch her breath.
“You can see the moment the tension breaks and the emotional weight lifts, leaving him feeling lighter and more stable,” Human Garage wrote of the experience in the script.
Although the performance was very moving and went well for the Grammy winner, 43, many fans in the comments section were troubled by the vulnerable video.
“Oh, why do we need to see this!” one user asked.
But the singer of “How I Live” beat the haters emotionally.
“Why?
His jaw surgery comes after the singer suffered a dental emergency on stage last summer.
While mid-track at The Skagit Casino Resort in Washington, his dental bridge dislodged and his teeth fell out.
“I am [felt] something comes out of my mouth, “he explained on Instagram after the show.” And if you’ve been there, you know I’ve had a lot of dental surgery and I have a bridge in the front and it fell out in the middle of my song last night.
Rimes said she “freaked out” before running to the side of the stage to protect her dentures and quickly returned to the microphone – but had to push her teeth into “every line”
The “Can’t Fight the Moonlight” singer laughed off the accident at the time, calling it “the most amazing experience ever.”
