TLC singer Chilli reveals the political landscape after donating to the Trump campaign, sharing Michelle Obama’s surprising strategy.

TLC singer Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas made it clear that she was not a supporter of Donald Trump after donating to the presidential campaign and sharing a conspiracy theory about Michelle Obama.

“I WANT TO CLARIFY: I do not LIE and I do not support any of the many policies that cause great harm to the American people,” the “No Scrubs” crooner wrote on Instagram Saturday.

Speaking about the donation, he added: “I made a mistake that many people have made: I didn’t read the fine print.

Thomas, 55, said he loves children and cares deeply for his veteran father.

“I’ve learned a valuable lesson and I’m asking for mercy as I read this,” he concluded, signing off, “Love, Chilli đź’•.”

Thomas previously donated to MAGA-aligned organizations during Trump’s 2024 presidential campaign, according to records obtained by the Independent.

According to the records, donations included $210.60 to WinRed, a Republican fundraising platform, $486.54 to Never Surrender Inc., a Trump affiliate, and $340.60 to the Trump JFC National Committee.

Additionally, the “Creep” singer shared a separate video, saying he has “a lot of respect for Obama” after being accused of sharing a conspiracy video about the first lady’s gender.

“I will not say or do anything that disrespects him or any woman,” Thomas added.

“I didn’t know if the repost happened until I started getting calls and messages from everyone and I immediately went to my page to see what was going on,” said Thomas.

The actress said that she is not very “savvy” with technology, and the like and repost buttons on Instagram are all “very close”.

“Obviously I was scrolling, and my thumb hit the repost button,” she added, explaining how she endorsed former President Barack Obama in his 2008 and 2012 campaigns.

Thomas insisted that he “supported the organization that Michelle had in schools for exercise for children.”
